Better late than never....

I am so sorry, I have been so busy lately that I haven't been able to find the time to post :( so I think I am going to write a bit of an update because quite a lot has happened. Since October last year I have been training for Ten Tors, every other weekend going out onto the moors with a group of my friends and walking for 9 hours in whatever conditions, and weirdly enough I loved it :) So on the 10th of May it was the REAL THING and they did it! I wasn't able to walk because I have breathing problems and they got really bad just before so I had to pull out and was so annoyed, but I was able to be a reserve so I went up to the Army base with them the day before and got up at 4:30 am to see them leave and it was amazing. Then, the weekend after I had my Duke of Edinburgh training walk where we had to walk for 2 days around Cornwall, where I live and it was so good (even though the weather was rubbish) because I was with some really lovely people and I have the qualification expedition this weekend and the weather looks amazing :) DofE is on a different level that Ten Tors and a lot easier so I am able to do it. After that it was half term and my family and I drove all of the 9 hours to Scotland to stay in a family cottage, because I am half Scottish (hence the red hair) It was pretty fun, but I had to revise all week because at the moment I am in the middle of my 2 exam weeks. We went of a gorgeous walk through a bluebell wood with some friends of ours and the when we were driving around the moors, we discovered a Buddhist Temple in the middle of Scotland.... it was a bit strange, but really beautiful with all the colours and gold everywhere. Right now I am revising so I haven't got any really recent picture, even though of course I have been too the beach, I mean do I even have to mention in anymore hahah... but I am taking my GoPro and a film camera on my DofE with me this weekend, so I'll see what I get from that. Oh, and I have slipped in a photo of some henna I did, let me know if you want to see more because I am always doing henna :) I hope you had a good half term and good luck if you are doing exams :)
